What a fun weekend we had!! We arrived at Lake Whippoorwill in Orlando on Saturday and stayed until Monday. Our little cabin was next to Grammie & Pop Pop's and we were right on the lake! Once we got everything unpacked, Ed & my Dad started the grill...And just as the coals heated up and Ed set the burgers & hot dogs out, it started pouring cats and dogs. Just our luck. So, we loaded everyone in the truck and headed to the local restaurant...SWEET MAMAS! Sunday was cold and WINDY, but that didn't stop Jonathan & Emily from running, playing, feeding the ducks, making s'mores AND fishing! Jonathan was the first to catch a fish, followed by Ed & Emily. Yes, Jonathan DID slip in the water...BUT, he caught himself quickly and only got one foot wet (The water was very shallow). Matthew is an explorer and has NO fear, so he was limited to his stroller, the cabin, pack & play and his highchair :o)
It was a very relaxing and fun weekend - We will definitely go back again!
